MISSION - SAU 35 has embarked on a program to integrate interactive television / videoconferencing technology into our high schools. The end goal is to enable our schools to expand educational opportunities to our students. We are currently working in cooperation with the Granite State Distance Learning Network, and other organizations and school districts nationwide to develop course offerings and special events.

We will be hosting a great number of distance learning activities occurring throughout the year, including collaborative events with other school districts, virtual field trips, and guest speakers.

MAJOR EVENTS - No events are currently scheduled

GSDLN UPDATE - No updates are currently available

DL RESEARCH - The Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory (Portland Oregon) has released a report entitled Access and Opportunity: Policy Options for Interactive Video in K-12 Education. This document is a result of the National K-12 IVC Symposium that was held in Dallas  in conjunction with the Northeast & Islands Regional Technology in Education Consortium (NEIR*TEC) and the South Central Regional Technology in Education Consortium (SC-RTEC). You can read it here: http://www.netc.org/digitalbridges/resources/index.html
